Today, we are all Catalans.
Yesterday, Spanish Footballs’ domestic season began with Leganes (1) defeating Alaves (0) and and Valencia (1) defeating Las Palmas (0), but what was uppermost in everyone’s mind was the unconscionable terrorist attack at Las Ramblas in Barcelona where 13 died and over 80 were injured. Other Spanish cities were also affected and their inhabitants remembered at each game played. The Spanish Soccer Federation website stated: “Spanish Football stands by Cataluna, in solidarity for your pain.” Real Madrid players at practice formed a prayer circle in solidarity–
